Experience: Aaron Randall grew up in Fayetteville, graduating from FHS in 1994, and then attended the University of Arkansas. As a young college student in 1996, he needed a job and found himself knocking on the door of Duck Club Gallery, owned by Charlie and Frances Sego. Aaron was given a math test to challenge his framing skills and nailed it. For 3 years, Aaron was mentored in the art of framing by Robin Garrett(aka Effron White!!), legendary in the region for his artistic and technical skill in the framing trade. During his time at Duck Club Gallery, Aaron honed his framing skills and developed a love for the craft...and discovered he was pretty good at it too!
Aaron spent the next 7 years managing frame shops in AR and TX. It was quickly noticed by frame shop owners that Aaron was “passionate about the finished product”. He has a natural gift with people as well as perfectionistic, technical, and exhibits creative design in his work - rare find in the industry.
- Duck Club Gallery, Fayetteville, AR (1996-1998)
- BA Framer at Garden Ridge, Round Rock, TX (1998-2001)
- The Great Frame Up, Springdale, AR (2001-2005)
Upon graduating from U of A with a degree in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Aaron put his new degree to work, landing a job at one of the largest non-profits in Arkansas, Economic Opportunity Agency (EOA). For 8 years, Aaron worked to help low-income families in Northwest Arkansas succeed through proven and effective advocacy programs. Although he found the work meaningful, he realized he did not belong behind a desk in an office. He needed to be building things, using his hands.
Frame Fayetteville takes flight: What if Aaron could marry his natural framing talent with his love for all things Fayetteville and Arkansas? The idea of Frame Fayetteville is born and opens its doors to the public in July 2016.
